About
Hello, I’m Liam Thorne, an award winning Audio Producer, Sound Engineer and Mixer.
Originally from sunny Yorkshire, for nearly two decades I’ve been studying and working in London, with a career spanning from multi-platinum selling records for artists such as George Ezra to clinching Gold at the prestigious ARIAS (Audio and Radio Industry Awards) with podcast series 'Moment of Truth’.
Working with sound and audio is my job, but also my passion (nerdy, I know). I pride myself on working across all aspects of audio which has allowed me to seamlessly navigate through every phase of production, from capturing pristine location sound to crafting impeccable audio post-production.
When thinking of some highlights of my career (so far…) I have to include recording, not one but two, international multi-platinum selling records with the amazing artist George Ezra, crafting sound design for a multi-award winning short film ‘Ladykiller’, trekking the length and breadth of the country recording location sound for feature documentary ‘End to End’, and, of course, winning Gold at the prestigious ARIAS with podcast series 'Moment of Truth’ (BBC/Folding Pocket).
I’m always keen to discuss and take on new projects. If there’s anything you’re developing and you may require sound and audio expertise, please reach out to see if there’s anything we could collaborate on.
I’m based in London but open to travelling and working remotely!
